Tea and Arts Fair Coming to West Hartford

Seminars, entertainment, educational venues relating to tea, health and healing on the agenda.

For those interested in the long cultural history of Asian tea or if you just enjoy sitting back with a cup of tea, there will be plenty to take in at the Tea and Arts Fair on Sept. 13 at the West Hartford Meeting and Conference Center.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

West Hartford -- Dr. Ming Wu owner of the Wu Healing Center, has a full agenda for people interested in attending the Tea & Arts Fair, Sept. 13 at the West Hartford Meeting and Conference Center, 50 South Main St, West Hartford from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Samples of tea from around the world will be available in addition to herbs, calligraphy artwork, and spiritual items.

Tea from the Asian world has a long cultural history with its own ceremonies and music. Learn about these through seminars and entertainment throughout the day. See dancers, singers, and musical instruments played.

Admission for the event is $12 for adults signing up on-line, $15 at the door. Seniors $8 on-line, $10 at the door. Children 10 and under, $8 on-line, $12 at the door.
