Merry Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special, 8 and 8:30 p.m., NBC

See the above entry about how you are yelling at the kids. Take some microwave popcorn, a liter bottle of root beer, and plop them down in front of the tube for these. The Madagascar one is a couple of years old and the Panda one is new but who cares? Do it.

Modern Family, 9 p.m., ABC

Every week I think it's the best episode ever. Last week's flash mob, Gloria and her BB-gun wielding rage, Phil and Family Camp. Awesome. But tonight we meet Cameron's mother. Which means I better have that pie done by 9.
