The West Hartford Symphony Orchestra (WHSO), under the direction of Richard Chiarappa, continues its eleventh season with a concert of holiday music on Sunday, December 9, 3:00 pm at the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main St., West Hartford.
This annual program features traditional and modern arrangements by Charles Gounod, César Franck, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Manheim Steamroller, Leroy Anderson, and a new piece, “Channukah Medley,” by Cantor Joseph Ness of West Hartford’s Beth El Temple.
Joining the WHSO for the first time are Kathleen Hardman (soprano) and Raymond Hardman (bass baritone), a husband and wife team well-known in the Greater Hartford area for their outstanding musical and theatrical performances.
Doors open at 2:15 pm. Ticket prices are as follows: $24.00 Reserved Table Seating/$18.00 General (unreserved) Seating/$12.00 Senior/Student (unreserved) Seating. Tickets can be purchased at the door, by calling the WHSO office at 860-521-4362, or securely online at www.whso.org. Handicap parking is available for those in need at either the north or south ends of the Town Hall.
