West Hartford's Playhouse on the Park Seeks Participants for 24-hour Play Festival
Third annual event set for Aug. 2.
West Hartford's Playhouse on the Park seeks playwrights, actors, and directors to participate in a 24-hour Play Festival that will take place Aug. 2.
Those interested in participating are asked to register as early as possible because space is limited.

Preference is given to those with experience and those that register early.
Participants meet on Friday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. and get randomly assigned into casts, each with one director and one playwright. Playwrights came out at the theatre overnight to write one-act plays. All other leave for the night. Playwrights return that afternoon to help with costumes and props. The performance is at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, just 24 hours after the first meeting.
Participants must be at least 16 years old.
