Daily Five: Halloween Costume Swap, LOL Club, Norfeldt Bazaar

Five things you need to know about in West Hartford on Oct. 19, 2012.

1. How great is this? Bring a gently used Halloween costume to the Bishops Corner Whole Foods on Saturday between 12 and 2 p.m. and walk away with one that's new to you. Whole Foods says swapping half of the Halloween costumes that kids wear can reduce annual landfill waste by 6250 tons.

2. Norfeldt School is looking for vendors for its Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 13. They're seeking craft vendors, artists and unique gifts, so check out this link if you're interested.

3. The old Prudential office at 7 North Main Street will soon be the home to a new business — the LOL club, an education center and tutoring program. The business is holding an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. today and the first 20 students will receive a free pass to attend a weekend workshop.
