Do You Have an Opinion About West Hartford Center?

A PhD candidate is conducting a research study about the remaking of West Hartford Center from 1980 through 2012, and is asking for participants.

Donald Poland, a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography at University College in London, is conducting a comprehensive research study of West Hartford Center, including Blue Back Square.

The title of his research is: "The Remaking of Resilient Urban Space: A Case Study of West Hartford Center 1980-2012." Poland is researching how the Center has changed and been remade during this time period, and how government, business owners, and consumers influenced this remaking.

Poland has been conducting his study for the past year, and is now seeking input from those who regularly use/visit West Hartford Center and Blue Back Square.

In order to participate, you must be at least 18 years of age and visit West Hartford Center at least once a week. The interview will take about one hour or less and will include questions and discussions related to things you do, the businesses you visit, the experiences you have had. This is an academic study, and all identities and other personal information will remain strictly confidential.
