Tastes N' Toasts Benefit for Wheeler Clinic

The Counter Restaurant in Blue Back Square, West Hartford will encourage customers to build their own burgers while building good will at the same time. The Counter will participate in Blue Back Square’s “Tastes N’ Toasts” to benefit Wheeler Clinic and offer discounts and specials to customers who make a donation. “Tastes N’ Toasts” is a weekly community relations program held every Wednesday night at a different restaurant in Blue Back Square to benefit a designated charity. The host restaurant offers discounts and specials to customers who make donations. The donors also receive discounts at other eateries in Blue Back Square. This burger restaurant allows customers to create their own custom-made burger with more than 312,120 combinations of fresh ingredients.   Wheeler Clinic, founded in 1968, is an independent, not-for-profit, community-based organization that provides a comprehensive continuum of mental health and substance abuse recovery services, special education, early childhood, community justice, foster care, employee assistance and prevention and wellness programs. The clinic serves more than 30,000 children, adolescents and adults in Connecticut each year. For more information, visit www.wheelerclinic.org.
