Microsoft Store to Open in Westfarms
West Hartford location among six new Microsoft stores announced recently.
A Microsoft retail store will be coming soon to Westfarms in West Hartford, according to a press release.
Details have not been confirmed in terms of the opening date, but a publicist confirmed on behalf of Microsoft that a store is on the way.
A post on Microsoft’s Facebook page also announces the opening.

The Microsoft retail store will be 3,762 square feet and will be located on the upper level between center court and Macy’s, according to Jonathan Adashek, general manager, Communications, Strategy, Sales & Marketing Services Group, Microsoft.
The store will have approximately 45 employees.

Currently, Microsoft has 78 full-line and specialty stores across the U.S. and Canada, according to Adashek.
Microsoft recently announced six additional stores, including the Westfarms location, which will be full service.
Microsoft had a temporary holiday store at Westfarms in 2012.
