Pinkberry Rolls Out the 'Pink Carpet' to Open Blue Back Square Store

Pinkberry celebrated in advance of Thursday's grand opening with free yogurt and a VIP reception under a tent in the Blue Back Square courtyard.

The line was long early Wednesday evening as those eager to sample renowned frozen yogurt waited patiently for free samples.

Those lucky enough to be invited to the VIP reception could avoid the wait, and at the same time enjoy product samples, music from the Hartt School, Pinkberry t-shirt giveaways, and the fun of being photographed in the "pink booth."

Trippe Lonian, Co-founder and CEO of Pinkberry's New England franchise, NE Frog Pond, was on hand welcoming guests to the new store. "This is a great community. We will definitely engage in the community and look forward to working with local charities and events," Lonian said. Team members Margie Lewis and J.J. Smith were also present, and joined with Lonian in the excitement surrounding the West Hartford opening.
