Plans for Six-Story Delamar Hotel Clear Another Hurdle in West Hartford

Sometimes the numbers are the story, and that is the case with the proposed Delamar Hotel. 

Six stories, 118,892-square-feet luxury hotel, 111 rooms, banquet facility, restaurant and bar area, 70-seat outdoor dining area, and a 28-seat outdoor cafe, that is all proposed for four acres of town owned property at the corner of Memorial and Raymond roads, the Hartford Courant reports. 

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans for the hotel at its Monday meeting, the Courant reports, and the final approve must be given by the Town Council. Plans have been in the works since 2012, Patch reported.
