The votes are in, and West Hartford readers chose as their favorite place to eat when someone else is paying. The Oyster Bar, which opened in 1999, has a popular bar, an extensive raw bar, and a dining room with high ceilings and a big city feel.
Max's Oyster Bar is part of the highly successful Richard Rosenthal restaurant group that includes Max's Burger Bar (also a nominee), Maxamia in Avon and Max Downtown in Hartford.
