Gourmet and not-so-gourmet hamburger joints are popping up all over the region, from and Max Burger in West Hartford (with two more upscale places on the way) to Five Guys in Avon and Farmington, in Simsbury, West Hartford, Glastonbury and Milford, and TD Homers in Southington, among many others.

So Patch wants to know — what's your favorite hamburger? Is it a simple slider with ketchup or a fully-loaded California-style burger with a fried egg and avocado? Do you wait all year for the hamburger served on two halves of a glazed doughnut at the Big E?

Do you care about the ambience of the restaurant or just the quality of the beef? Does a turkey burger or a veggie burger taste better to you than the traditional fare?
