Welcome to this week's Business Buzz! Hope you all enjoyed the warm weather this weekend!

LEGO Store Opening

A new LEGO Group store will soon be calling the Westfarms Mall home. According to an article in the Hartford Courant, the store is set to open in May.

Titanfall Release Party

I admit that I’ve been out of the gaming loop ever since the days of Zelda and Tetris. But for those who are still very much in the gaming world, a Titanfall release party is taking place at the Microsoft store in the Westfarms Mall on Monday, March 10.

Gamplay, prizes, food and drinks will be part of the Titanfall release party festivities.

Get Social for a Cause

For each new Pond House Cafe Pinterest or Twitter follower obtained during March, $1 will be donated to the Elizabeth Park Conservancy! Pond House Cafe made the announcement on its Facebook page and is hoping you will help them raise some money!

Hearty Kitchen Hiring

Hearty Kitchen is hiring experienced line cooks and waitstaff, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page. The restaurant is located at 280 Park Rd., West Hartford, and can be reached at 860-756-0454.

Anyone interested is asked to message Hearty Kitchen for more info.

Yogis, Take Note

The 2nd annual Holistic and Green Living event will take place on May 3 at Elizabeth Park in Hartford. Re:Create CT posted the details on its Facebook page and showed off a large, white tent that will serve as a yoga hub!

Classes, demonstrations and activities will take place throughout the event. Anyone who tries a class will receive a free raffle ticket and be eligible to win prizes.

And if don’t have a yoga mat, don’t sweat it! West Hartford Yoga is providing yoga mats that guests can use while in the tent!

Get Social!

Let’s show the Toy Chest and Friends of Fernridge Park some love! They recently made Twitter accounts — here’s where you can follow them!
