What Should Go in this Space at Bishop's Corner?

Patch wants to know your vision for this vacancy.

This building is a large space at 345 North Main Street in the Plaza. Most recently it was a Petco, and before that it was the much-missed Kitchen Etc.

With all the renovations going on in this development at Bishop's Corner, this space seems primed for a new tenant.

What kind of business would you like to see here?

A laser tag/family activity place with mini bowling and really good food.

Or maybe an indoor farmers market-with crafts? Something to increase foot traffic in the area? It would be nice to make a little park/planted area in between the stores too. And maybe a quirky tea/lunch place with outdoor umbrellas.

A Container Store! It would be the only one in CT!

It was sold to the neighborhood last winter as a restaurant with outdoor seating. Those on Blue Ridge were quite concerned about the noise level, as that patio space is the same height as the houses on the other side of the parking lot. Obviously, Edens doesn't have a tenant signed. Also the noodle restaurant that is supposedly coming in next to Massage Envy hasn't materialized. There is nothing there but an empty shell.

I think Bishop's Corner needs a CVS! In fact, every intersection in town needs a CVS. <G>

This should definitely be a restaurant / bar. Bishops needs a place for young professionals to dine and drink and cut loose. Don't give me anything about any noise levels; cars and traffic are much louder. This area is completely void of any decent sit-down restaurant or bar scene.
