Just a few weeks ago Carmine's Pizza, a fixture in Elmwood for over 20 years, closed its doors. After 21 years without a vacation, the owner decided it was time to retire.
Carmine's closing was a sad day for fans of the restaurant, and it also left an empty space in a shopping center which includes popular spots such as the and Rita's.
