XS Brokers Expands Connecticut Office

Steve DiBattisto and Suzanne Averill Join Firm

XS Brokers Insurance Agency, Inc., a leading Northeast E&S wholesale brokerage and MGA firm, continues to expand its presence in Connecticut by hiring Steve DiBattisto as Senior Broker/Sales Manager and Suzanne Averill as Senior Account Executive. The Connecticut office was established in the fall of 2011 and recently moved to new offices in West Hartford.

Steve’s responsibilities include growing all facets of the organization within the Connecticut region, representing all lines of commercial business including binding authority, brokerage and professional. Steve brings 30 years of insurance experience to XS Brokers including Pacific Wholesale where as Vice President he was accountable for opening their New England office.

Suzanne’s responsibilities include assisting in negotiating account terms and conditions, quoting, binding, and post-binding follow up and account maintenance. Prior to joining XS Brokers, Suzanne was an account manager at Field Eddy, MA; and before that, in the large property & casualty division of S. H. Smith & Co., CT.
