Advice on Building a Strong Personal Brand at May 14th "Beer, Burgers & Managing Your Bucks"

Personal branding is the key to consistently communicating what makes you distinctive and valuable to employers and customers.  And at May 14th’s “Beer, Burgers & Managing Your Bucks” at MCC on Main (903 Main Street, Manchester), guest speaker Kyle Reyes, President and Creative Director of The Silent Partner Marketing, will not only show attendees how they can shape an authentic and compelling personal brand, he’ll also have a long list of ideas for turning that brand into dollars.

In addition to Reyes, the popular beer-tasting/money-management event for young adults will include two other special guests.    John Garaventa (garaventaphotography.com), a well-known local photographer, will be offering attendees the opportunity to have a professional digital headshot taken at a significantly reduced price ($25) during the 6 – 7PM networking hour.  According to many social media experts, a good headshot is vital to reflecting an individual’s personal brand and connecting a face to one’s virtual identity.

Stacey Zackin, Life & Career Coach and founder of www.theCoach4you.com, will also be on hand before and after Reyes’ presentation (which begins at 7 PM) to consult with attendees on identifying their Unique Value and integrating their personal brand into their resumes, printed and verbal business cards and social media profiles. Those who are interested in taking advantage of Zackin’s complimentary coaching should bring samples of their marketing materials for a brief review.   Besides coaching individuals, Zackin conducts workshops for groups and organizations on topics such as change management, risk-taking and value-based decision-making.
