Bank of America Awards More than $450,000 to Connecticut Nonprofits Addressing Local Workforce Development and Education Needs

The Bank of America Charitable Foundation announced $477,500 in grants to Connecticut nonprofits, including 27 in Greater Hartford, to help connect the unemployed, underemployed, veterans, youth and those with disabilities to training and employment opportunities.

“These organizations play a critical role in connecting jobseekers to the skills and experience they need to be successful in their searches,” said Kevin Cunningham, Connecticut president, Bank of America.  “As more of our neighbors are able to access these programs, the entire community will benefit.”
