Neag School of Education Hosts Information Session for Executive Leadership Program

The Executive Leadership Program, housed in the Neag School of Education at UConn, is hosting an information session for prospective students who are interested in the program. A virtual information session will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at 4 p.m. (EST).

The Executive Leadership Program, which is the preparation and certification program for superintendents, provides prospective superintendents with the background and knowledge necessary to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st century superintendency. The program provides course work and structured clinical experiences that prepare participants to demonstrate mastery of CT School Leaders Standards and leads to a UConn institutional endorsement for the CT 093 superintendent certification.

“The Executive Leadership Program helped me think systemically and more broadly. Without question, the learning in the program strongly influenced my work in Central Office and now as Commissioner,” says Connecticut Commissioner of Education Miguel Cardona '01 MA, '04 6th Year, '11 Ed.D., '12 ELP.
