Saint Mary Home Earns Five-Star Quality Rating

The Mercy Community, West Hartford’s premier continuing care retirement community, is pleased to announce that Saint Mary Home, a part of the Mercy Community, has recently earned a Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The CMS Five-Star Quality Rating System assigns nursing facilities nationwide with a rating between one and five stars. Those care facilities with Five-Stars are considered to have above average quality compared to other nursing home facilities in their particular state.

The ratings are based on the star rating for the following categories— Health Inspections; Quality Measures; and Staffing Levels at the facility.
