Senator Beth Bye tours UConn Health Center

Senator Beth Bye speaks with a researcher at the UConn Health Center in Farmington who is staining mouse bones to track the various stages of bone healing. Senator Bye spoke with the woman during her September 4, 2013 tour of the health center and of the  Bioscience Connecticut construction progress at UCHC, including the new home of The Jackson Laboratory. Senator Bye voted both for bringing The Jackson Laboratory to Farmington and for a 10-year Bioscience Innovation Fund that will promote economic development by allowing investments in translational bioscience research, emerging technologies and new companies.
