Fashion: What's Hot for the Cool Weather

About Charlotte "Blu" Berman: I grew up in New York City's Upper West Side but have called Connecticut my home for many years. I like to look at life through a humorous lens, but am also a dedicated follower of fashion. I'm a film and theatre buff. I have had a live radio show on the CRIS radio network for the past 8 years.

Leopard prints have staying power in everything from shoes to “texting gloves” like those featured at Kimberly Boutique in The Center.

Artichoke, Inc., features “classics” with an attitude. Skirts are back and not so tight to the body. Violet/eggplant/purples show up to call attention beautifully to separates and dresses.
Is there really anything new in Jewelry this season? “Yes!” says Rosie DeRobertis of DeRobertis Jewelers on LaSalle Road – earrings, rings, pendants that actually change color as you look at them. A percentage of sales from this vendor goes to help poor women, in the U.S. and overseas, to start their own businesses.
