Fourth of July: The Best CT Fireworks

Did you know that Connecticut is home to one of the largest fireworks displays in the Northeast?Hoffman Auto Group knows that our customers and their families love a great display of good old-fashioned patriotism on July 4th. We've complied this list of fireworks across our state for your family's enjoyment this Independence Day... and all the way to July 20th! 


Fireworks on Friday, June 28th

Music will fill the air at Hamden's Independence day celebration and fireworks display, sponsored by Hamden's volunteer firefighters. www.hamdenartscommission.org


Wednesday, July 3 Celebration 

The Middletown Fireworks Festival will begin around 6 PM on July 3rd with fireworks around 9:30 PM at 245 DeKoven Drive on the town hall lawn. 

Thursday July 14th Firework Shows 

Fireworks at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain will begin around 9:15 PM on July 4th. 
East Rick Park will be hosting New Haven's fireworks on July 4th at 9 PM. Free parking is available at Wilbur Cross High School. 
Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury will be hosting 3D fireworks on July 4th at dark. 
The Ridgefield fireworks will be at Ridgefield High School on July 4 at dusk. 


Saturday July 6 Fireworks 

Hartford's Riverfest 2011 will be held on July 6th (rain date: July 7th) along the Connecticut River on Saturday, July 6 at 9 PM. The Riverfest Celebration runs from 4:00 - 9:30 PM. Need more info? Check out www.riverfront.org 

Manchester will be having fireworks at Manchester Community College on Thursday, July 6th at 9:30 PM. It's party of the Dutch Forgarty Independence Day Celebration, which starts at 4 PM. 


Saturday July 13th: CT's Largest Fireworks 

New London's SailFest Fireworks Extravaganza will be held on July 13 around 9 PM at 124 State Street. 

Saturday July 20, the Last Fireworks Show
