Quintessential Summer Driving Destinations

Hop into your Hoffman vehicle and take it to one of Connecticut's remaining treasured drive-in movie theaters.

By the mid 1960′s the outdoor cinema revolution was in full swing around Connecticut. Everyone loved going to the drive-in, and there were over 40 theaters across the state. Even though the heyday of Connecticut’s Drive-Ins has long gone by, and 95% of theaters have closed the doors and moved on, the show does still go on at two local drive-in theaters in Connecticut!

If you’re looking for a drive down memory lane, these great CT destinations will get you there. There’s definitely something special about packing your car full of kids and heading out to see a movie under the stars. And besides being a really fun, special treat that’s not “just the movies,” taking in a film at either of these drive-in’s on Carload Night will save you a boatload! Make sure you put these Connecticut drive-ins on your list of places you absolutely must visit this summer!
