Daily Five: Unified Theater, Lung Cancer Fundraiser, Rooftop Gardens

Five things you need to know about in West Hartford on Nov. 15, 2012.

1. Prepare to be wowed. Unified Theater presents "UTube 2012," at Sedgwick Middle School at 5 p.m. The show involves more than 150 middle school students of all abilities in 16 skits and three dance routines.

2. Shopping at Chico's has an added bonus today. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the National Lung Cancer Partnership.

3. Ever wondered about those rooftop gardens in New York City? Well, urban gardener Ben Flanner can tell you all about them at Emanuel Synagogue at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $10, except for members of the Connecticut Horticultural Society and full-time students.

4. Planning to go to the Hall-Conard football game on Saturday (1:30 p.m. at Hall)? If you do, please bring a donation for a Hurricane Sandy relief drive being conducted by the Hall High School Human Rights Coalition.
