Daily Five: Scavenger Hunt, Water Wars

Things you need know about in West Hartford on Sept. 21, 2012

1. Scavenger hunt, anyone? In recognition of Alzheimer's Action Day, Arden Courts of Farmington is hosting a Scavenger Hunt through Blue Back Square.  Registration is at 3 p.m. today and the cost is $20. The funds raised will support Alzheimer's research and there are prizes!

2. Want your child to learn Hebrew through games and songs? The Emanuel Synagogue is introducing a new series of classes called “Preschool Child and Me.” The ten-week classes begin in October and are open to the entire community.

3. A raincoat won't be necessary when The Sonia Plumb Dance Company presents the premiere of its newest performance, Water Wars, at the Carol Autorino Center at the University of St. Joseph at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 22.
