I think Jonathan's Dream playground at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford is such a great playground! It's unlike any other playground in the area. It was built specifically for handicapable kids, but it is enjoyed by all children! It's unique, safe, and lots of fun.

We love Beachland Park. It's very far back from the street and never crowded. The Splash pad at Wolcott is also great but gets very crowded.

absolutely agree on Beachland Park - hope it stays that way

I always loved taking my kids to Jonathan's Dream, Fern Park and the Bugbee School playground. We really do have a wealth of good places to play in town. On weekends, Bugbee's also a good place to teach a kid to ride a bike without worrying about traffic.
