Road Construction This Week on North Main Street
Delays likely, and motorists urged to seek alternate routes.
The West Hartford Department of Community Services is notifying residents that they will be starting a project this week which may cause significant traffic delays.
The project involves drainage improvements to North Main Street, just north of Linbrook Road. It will take two to three days to complete and the road will be reduced to one lane in each direction during this time.
The project, which will cost $15,000, includes clearing an underground blockage and installing a new storm sewer pipe to connect the catch basins on each side of the road.
