Tell Us About Your Favorite Cupcakes

Just a few years ago, cupcakes were something that moms made for kids' soccer teams or school birthday parties, not an upscale item around which whole businesses would emerge. Now we have cupcake shops, cupcake trucks, even a Food Network show called "Cupcake Wars."

In New York City, lines can stretch arond the block for the cupcakes at Magnolia Bakery, but where do you go in Central Connecticut for the best cupcakes? Does your local grocery store make a fabulous red velvet, or do you prefer a bakery that specializes in the tiny little wonders.

What's your favorite flavor of cupcake? Do you love the adventurous paring of spices and chocolate, or are you happiest with plain vanilla cake and frosting from a can?
