Top 10 YouTube Videos of the Year

From a sleeping kitten getting a hug from its mom to an annoying song about a day of the week, these videos kept people coming back.

As the year comes to a close, YouTube has identified the most-watched videos of 2011.

According to the Huffington Post, videos on YouTube were watched more than 1 trillion (yes, that's "illion" with a "t") this year.

The most-watched video was Rebecca Black's "Friday." The one now playing on YouTube has about 12 million views, but an early version that was eventually pulled received 167 million views.

The ranking is world-wide, but it excludes "videos from major music labels,'" the Huffington Post said.
