West Hartford Traffic Alert: Farmington Ave. Milling and Paving This Weekend

The MDC will continue its road restoration work with milling and paving of Farmington Ave. on Saturday and Monday.

The following information was received in a news release from the Metropolitan District Commission:

On Saturday, Oct. 6, and Monday, Oct. 8, the Metropolitan District (MDC) and its contractor, S. Carpenter Construction, will be completing milling and paving work on Farmington Avenue between Whiting Lane and Hamilton Avenue.

In order to expedite the work, we ask that residents please move their vehicles from the road by 7:00 AM. "No Parking" signs will be posted.

This schedule is subject to change based on weather or other construction-related issues.

The MDC's goal is to keep residents and businesses informed throughout the construction process.
