What's Open, What's Closed on Martin Luther King Day

Today is a federal and state holiday.

 

Jan. 16 is considered a holiday in observance of Martin Luther King Day. State and local government offices are closed but many retail businesses will remain open:

  • U.S. Post Offices: Closed
  • State Government Offices: Closed
  • State courts: Closed
  • Liquor stores: Permitted to be open
  • Supermarkets: Open
  • Retail stores: Most open
  • Restaurants: Running on their usual Monday schedules.

, which is usually closed on Mondays, will be open on Martin Luther King Day and has scheduled for the holiday. Special skating sessions are also scheduled at Veteran's Memorial Rink.
