Feb. 18 is considered a holiday in observance of President's Day.
Trash and recycling collection will operate on the normal schedule this week and will not be impacted by the holiday.

- West Hartford Public Schools: Closed all week.
- Banks: Closed, except for TD Bank
- U.S. Post Offices: Closed
- State Government Offices: Closed
- State courts: Closed
- DMV and AAA: Closed
- Liquor stores: Permitted to be open
- Supermarkets: Open
- Retail stores: Most open
- Restaurants: Running on their usual Monday schedules.
The Children's Museum, which is usually closed on Mondays, will be open on President's Day. Special skating sessions are also scheduled at Veteran's Memorial Rink.
