WHC-TV Program to Offer 'Mother's Day Makeover'

Sara Conner of “Life and Style with Sara” on WHC-TV and Leslie Polgar of “You Enhanced” are partnering together to offer a lucky mother, or caregiver, a “Mother’s Day Makeover.” 

Conner and Polgar know most moms and caregivers always think of themselves last. That’s why they want to reward the lucky winner with some well deserved pampering. 

Do you have a wife, mother, aunt, or friend who spends her time helping and caring for others instead of herself? Think she really deserves some TLC? Submit her name and story for a chance to win the royal treatment. Do you spend all your time dressing your children and don’t have time to think about your own wardrobe? Enter yourself to win. 

Contestants should submit a photo and a brief paragraph about why they think they should be picked for this pampering opportunity. Sara and Leslie will pick the most deserving of the bunch. 

The Contest winner will receive:

• An in home consult with Polgar to assemble fashionable, flattering, fun outfits using clothes and accessories the winner already has in her closet.
• In addition the winner will be featured on “Life and Style with Sara” showcasing her new look, including hairstyling and makeup. 

Contestants must be willing to appear on “Life and Style with Sara” as well as welcome Leslie into her closet for a fashion consultation.  Winners must live in West Hartford or a neighboring town. 

Entry deadline: April 5. Winners will be announced April 8.

Entry should include:  Contestant’s name, a recent photo, a paragraph explaining why they should win, and contact information. 

The in-home consult and show taping will take place in April. “Life and Style with Sara: Mother’s Day Makeover” will air in May.
