Community Corner

West Hartford's Walk Like MADD This Weekend

Walk Like MADD, the signature walk of Mothers Against Drunk

Driving, is a fun, community-driven 5K event that raises funds and saves

lives.  Every step taken and every dollar

raised supports MADD’s initiatives in CT, including the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk

Driving
which calls for ignition interlocks for all drunk drivers;

sobriety checkpoints and/or saturation patrols; community support; and the

development and exploration of advanced technologies that will one day make a

vehicle inoperable by a drunk driver.
