A Hand Up Warehouse Drop Off Day

A

Hand Up is having a Drop-Off Day on Sunday July 28th from 10am to
1pm at our warehouse.  A Hand Up, Inc. is
a West Hartford based non-profit that assists people transition from
homelessness into independent living in the greater Hartford area.   We
rely solely on volunteer help and donations.

We need the following items in GOOD
condition:  bedding supplies such as sheets,
blankets, bedspreads, comforters (all linens must be washed, unstained, no rips
or tears; all sizes except king), pillows (NEW only) and bath and kitchen

towels (all towels must be washed, unstained, no rips or tears), curtains, dish cloths, dish towels, coffee makers, toasters,
SMALL microwaves and vacuums, bookshelves, nightstands, lamps (with
bulbs), small dressers (no larger than 5’h x 5’w), small dining/kitchen tables
(6’ or less), dining chairs, coffee tables, small sofas or loveseats or chairs
(6’ or less), silverware (sets of 4 or more), dishes (set of 4 or more), glasses
(set of 4 or more), pots and pans (no rust please) and kitchen utensils.  We do offer a pick up service for large items;
please call 860 424-2980 or e-mail angelina.ahandup@live.com to make arrangements.  Items may be tax deductible and we can
provide a receipt.  We do reserve the

right to decline any donations that do not meet our criteria for size,
condition or are not currently being accepted.
Please DO NOT leave any items outside the warehouse.  A Hand Up warehouse is located at 635 New
Park Ave, West Hartford. The driveway entrance is between Butler
Equipment-Corner Pug. A blue and white sign lists all businesses.  Enter the driveway; take first right at row of
white warehouses. We are the last unit on the left.  Our website is http://ahandupinc.org/.  Next Drop Off Day is Sunday, September 15th.
