A Night With Bobby Valentine - A Fundraiser to Support CREC Athletics

On
Friday, February 28, join legendary former Major League Baseball player and Red
Sox manager Bobby Valentine for an evening of great food and exciting
conversation. The event will feature a silent auction with many sensational
items of sports memorabilia, including items from the 1980 US Hockey Team,
Warren Moon, the New England Patriots, and many more unique collectibles.
Opportunities for photos and autographs with Bobby Valentine will be offered as
well.

To
top it off, participants will enjoy a fantastic, catered dinner from Connecticut's
premier banquet facility, Maneeley’s in South Windsor. Maneeley's award-winning
service will be in full swing, with some light snacks to start the evening
followed by a buffet-style dinner.

All
of the funds raised from this special night will be used to benefit CREC's
Interscholastic Baseball and Softball Programs. CREC is currently establishing
baseball and softball as part of its middle school and high school athletics
programs. Funding support is needed to purchase equipment and uniforms and to
rent facilities for the students to practice and play. CREC hopes that this
event will put the baseball and softball programs in a position to be
successful this spring.
