Come join The West Hartford Bicycle Advisory Committee and Bike West Hartford, Inc. at "Bike to Town Thursdays" on  May 8, 2014 at at 6:30 pm at Sweet Frog on South Main Street in the Center.  Sweet Frog has agreed to give all cyclists who show their helmet a discount off of their frozen yoghurt. These weekly rides, which will take place, weather permitting, every Thursday through August 30, are intended to promote bike riding as a safe and comfortable means of transportation within West Hartford.  The "Bike to Town" events are open invitations for residents and their friends to ride their bicycles to specific destinations in West Hartford, rather than driving their cars. The destinations change weekly.  Interested riders can find out about future weekly rides by logging on to bikewesthartford.org or on Facebook at Make West Hartford Bicycle Friendly.
