Broadway Actress Jan Neuberger Runs Master Class on Shakespeare’s Clowns at Playhouse on Park

On
Monday, July 21st, Playhouse on Park is offering a master class
called Shakespeare’s Clowns on from 7 pm to 10 pm. This class will focus on
fools from Feste to Falstaff. Students are asked to bring comfortable clothes
for physical movement.

The guest instructor for
this class is Jan Neuberger. Ms. Neuberger was part of the original Broadway
casts for Wicked and Big, as well as the 1974 revival of Gypsy starring Angela Lansbury. She has
performed in various CT stages, including The Goodspeed, The Ivoryton
Playhouse, and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. Ms. Neuberger has performed
Shakespeare with The President’s Group and The British American Drama Academy. She
has previously appeared at Playhouse on Park in Brighton Beach Memoirs and her own show titled Boomer Girl: A One (Middle-Aged)-Woman Show.

This
class is for students ages 16 through adult. A $45 registration is required;
class size is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
