"Concertos For 3 Generations" Kickoff Orchestral Concert
2013-14 Music Series At Beth El


The 2013-14 Music Series At Beth El  Kickoff Orchestral Concert, "Concertos For 3 Generations" on Sunday, December 8 @7pm will offer many highlights. Julliard  pianist Steven Beck  performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major Op. 73 immortalized in the recent movie, “The Kings Speech”. Rising star of the classical guitar world, Naxos Recording Artist, Adam Levin, performs Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Guitar Concerto No. 1 in D major Op. 99 originally composed for 20th century guitarist extraordinaire, Andre Segovia. Child pianist, Eric Ness performs the first two movements of Franz Josef Haydn's Piano Concerto No. 11 in D major.  Joseph Ness, Conductor/Artistic Director performs cantorial favorites and conducts the Beth El Orchestra. Tickets are available in advance at the Temple office or at the door:  $15 General Admission; $10 Seniors and Students, FREE for kids 12 and under.
