Exploring “The Intersection of Risk and Finance”

“The Intersection of Risk and Finance,” a symposium presented by the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business, in partnership with Corporate Risk Solutions, LLC, a prominent global independent risk management and benefits advisory firm. A panel of business executives will offer an informative and dynamic look at the interrelationship between the fields of insurance and finance, and the engaging career possibilities that await today’s college graduates.


            The program will be highlighted by a keynote address by Charles A. Davis, CEO of Stone Point Capital LLC, a global private equity firm, and the former head of Investment Banking Services worldwide at Goldman Sachs and Co., where he was co-head of the Americas Group, head of the Financial Services Industry Group, a member of the International Executive Committee and a General Partner.

Joe Boren, chairman of the environmental product line at Ironshore Holdings (U.S.) Inc., and executive vice president of Ironshore Insurance Services, LLC; has experience in every segment of the environmental market­­–as regulator, practitioner, and insurer;


Peter Eastwood, president and CEO, The Americas, AIG, responsible for AIG’s property and casualty insurance operations in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Latin America;
