First Thursday: Indian Spice:
Experience the culture of India at the Wadsworth Atheneum with traditional music from Wesleyan University musicians and a dance performance by Rachna Agrawal. Participate in a Bollywood dancing lesson with heartthrob Deepak Arora or find your center during a yoga demonstration by Civic Mind. Enjoy Indian food, shop Indian clothing and create your own miniature painting inspired by an Indian illustrated manuscript in our collection! Spice up the evening with a screening of the comedy English Vinglish. The Museum Café will be open for dinner (reservations recommended). $5; free for members and students with ID.


January’s First Thursday is presented in collaboration with Milan Cultural Association, the India Center and Wesleyan University.
