La Petite France Bakery & Cafe is hosting a Galette
weekend, Saturday & Sunday, January 12 & 13 to celebrate the Epiphany,an authentic French holiday. It is a very popular holiday in France and a special cake, the Galette des Rois, is made to celebrate the Epiphany which is the day that the three Kings went to visit the baby Jesus. The traditionis that a trinket is hidden in the cake and whoever finds it is crowned King or Queen for the day.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can come in for a small slice of the galette or kings cake. If you are one of the lucky one and discover the hidden charm in your slice, you will a gift card for $30.00.
If you want to take home your very own Galette or Kings Cake, you may order one at a 10% discount throughout the weekend.
