Local Farmington Teen Presents "The Bystanders" - A Documentary about Anti-Semitism

Please join the Beth El Temple Men’s Club for a full breakfast buffet as they welcome Farmington teen and Beth El member Adam Dimanshteyn, producer of “The Bystanders”, a documentary about anti-Semitism.

As a result of hearing the stories of anti-Semitism that his parents experienced first-hand growing up in the former Soviet Union, as well as the his own experience with the ignorance and indifference displayed at his high school towards Jewish students, Adam embarked on a personal project of producing a documentary on anti-Semitism.  Driven by the lack of awareness Adam saw demonstrated by his fellow classmates, he decided to take a stand and educate his friends.  All in the community are invited to eat breakfast, meet Adam, hear his story and view his documentary.

The cost is $7 per person, free for Men's Club members ($10 for community friends and $5 for Beth El members who do not RSVP).  Please RSVP to Joe Springut, 860-676-9878.   For more information please call the Temple office at 860-233-9696 or visit us online at www.bethelwesthartford.org or like us on Facebook   http://www.facebook.com/bethelwh
