Medical Marijuana Discussion

William Rubenstein, Commissioner of the CT Department of Consumer Protection, will speak on Medical Marijuana: Who Benefits? at Congregation Beth Israel on Sunday, December 9, 9:30am. Last session, the State of Connecticut passed a law that would make medicinal marijuana available to cancer patients and others who may benefit from its effects.  However, many questions remain as to how this program will be implemented and who will be eligible. And the question remains: Could recreational use become legal here, as in Colorado and Washington?  The public is invited. Admission is $5 which includes breakfast. Congregation Beth Israel is located at 701 Farmington Ave., West Hartford.  Contact bethisrael@cbict.org, 860-233-8215 x232, or visit www.cbict.org.
