Do you or your family need Health Insurance?  Are you eligible for SNAP?

SNAP, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program, used to be called the Food Stamp program.

It allows you to buy food at the grocery
store, corner stores and even some farmers’ markets.

You get an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)
card and use it like a debit card. SNAP benefits are put on this card once a
month.  SNAP helps individual and
families buy food. Anyone can apply for SNAP. The amount you receive depends on
your income, your expenses, and your family size. You have to prove you are a
legal resident to be eligible for SNAP.  Applying for and getting SNAP
will not hurt your chances to become a citizen.
