Kate Couture: A Hepburn-Inspired Fashion Show

Kate
Couture: A Hepburn-Inspired Fashion Show

May 10 at 11:00 am & 2:00 pm
(two shows)

Over the
course of her career, Katharine Hepburn portrayed fiercely independent
women and dressed the part, on screen and off. From glamorous gowns to
athletic-influenced sportswear and khaki pants, Hepburn’s independent spirit and sense of style influenced
countless women, fashion designers, and the informal, elegant approach to
American style seen on today’s runways. Join CHS, Clinton Crossing Premium
Outlets, the Miss Connecticut Scholarship
Corporation, the Katherine Hepburn
Cultural Arts Center and host WTNH’s Ann Nyberg for a light-hearted,
fashion-focused look at Hepburn as they bring Kate Couture from the screen to
the catwalk. With refreshments and a visit to the Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen exhibit, it is a
perfect Mother's Day weekend outing. Raffle tickets available to win great
Kate-inspired prizes from Saybrook Point Inn and Spa, Ann Taylor, Hartford
Stage, Ted's Montana Grill and more! For more information, call (860) 236-5621 x289 or email Jennifer_Steadman@chs.org. $25 per ticket;
tickets available online at CHS.org/Hepburn.
