On November 14th participating businesses in West Hartford Center and Blue Black Square will be showing their support for Pancreatic Cancer by lighting up their windows with purple lights and donating portions of their sales to the Ron Foley Foundation. Others will be selling purple wristbands and/or setting up awareness tables. Come; enjoy a day of shopping, browsing, fine dining, and becoming more aware of this deadly disease. Support those who have lost to this disease and those now fighting it. Visit Ronsrun.org as the day draws nearer to find businesses participating in this event.
To name a few:
BK & Company
Labrazel Home
Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs
McLadden's Irish Publick House
Webster Bank
November is also Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. Please show your support by lighting up your homes or businesses with purple lights.
