More then just packet pick-up convenience, the eve of the Red Dress Run at Fleet Feet Sports is a girls only gathering not to be missed. Learn how exercise, age and health affect high endurance women athletes, interact and ask experts questions at the Red Dress Run REAL TALK.
From common concerns to sensitive topics, REAL TALK will cover:

  • Obstacles to participating in high endurance exercise
  • Cardiovascular benefits and risks of endurance training and racing
  • Physical therapy for injury prevention and treatment
  • How to address types of pelvic floor disorders or bladder conditions associated with women, hormones, pregnancy and menopause 
You'll be talking with:
  • Adam C. Steinberg, DO: Physician and Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hartford Hospital
  • Stacy Head, ATC and PT: Senior Physical Therapist, Hartford Hospital
  • Beth Taylor, PhD: Director of Exercise Physiology Research, Hartford Hospital
This free event will be offered Friday July 11, at Red Dress Run packet pickup at Fleet Feet Sports, Farmington Avenue, West Hartford. One-hour seminar offered at 4 pm and repeated at 5:30 pm
