 Take Good Care: Health Care as Human Right? - As the Affordable Care Act comes into its own, Rev. Megan Lloyd Joiner offers a pastoral reflection on the moral dimensions of health care asking what it means to proclaim health care as a human right. Join her in exploring the resources our Unitarian Universalist faith offers as we seek health care justice for all people here in Connecticut and in our nation.

Rev. Megan Lloyd Joiner lives in New Haven with her husband, Anthony, baby daughter, Arden, and two cats. Megan has served as a pediatric chaplain in New York City, a liberal religious advocate in Washington, D.C., and a parish minister at The Universalist Church in West Hartford. She currently serves as consulting minister with Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society in Madison, CT. Rev. Megan received her BA in Religious Studies from Wesleyan University and her MDiv from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. A life-long Unitarian Universalist, she loves time in the pulpit, the classroom, the woods, and the water.
